A lovely little time-lapse video of the bridge going up and down.

I used to live on Hawthorne and 19th - across the bridge, and worked in the lower right hand corner.

wow that's so clear! way cool. i want to do a time lapse video of my desktop or something. i wonder how i'd go about that. look at me brainstorming on your post, sorry!

VQ indeed! and I lived on the same street as Vincente's Pizza. I loved working at VQ - video poker and gourmet snacks.

Cool! Nice little great quality video.

I love the Coronado Bay Bridge in San Diego, though it doesn't go up and down.
It's huge though, the parts are made to float in case of a bombing, as the other side houses the West Coast Navy Fleet of 50 ships.

Wow. Excellent memories of Portland. Mostly took the Fremont bridge (NE and all that) but good to see Hawthorne in the hizzy. Would be great to see some steel bridge footage. Don't we all long for Portland? I still do.
